Blue Mountain Park Animal Hospital was found in 2014 by Dr Dan Im. Our hospital name comes from one of Coquitlam's original municipal parks named Blue Mountain Park. Dr Im is a certified veterinary acupuncturist. He has a special interest in geriatrics and improving quality of life for older pets. He uses Chinese medicine: acupuncture, herbal medicine, and Tui-na (a hands-on therapy combining acupressure and message), integrated with Western medicine to manage chronic pain and other issues in dogs, cats, and horses.
In order to provide you and your pet with the best care possible, we book 30 minute appointments to maximize your time with the doctor and staff, and minimize your wait times. The hospital is equipped with high functioning technologies and offer services in both English and Korean to ensure clear communication. We appreciate any feedback, positive or negative, so that our team could continuously improve and keep our mission.
