Dear BMPAH family and friends,

We hope that you, your family and furry friends are remaining safe and healthy. As a valued member of Blue Mountain Park Animal Hospital community, the health and safety of our family and friends are our top priority.

At BMPAH, we are implementing and adapting plans and protocols based on the best direction from public health guidelines and veterinary authorities, so that our hospital team is able to continue to provide care for our patients.

As a medical facility, BMPAH already adheres to strict protocols of sanitization and cleanliness within our hospital. We will be taking additional measures to ensure that our hospital is cleaned and sanitized more frequently. We ask our clients to help by using the hand sanitizer available in the reception area when you enter and leave the hospital.

We respectfully ask you to stay home, if you are feeling unwell or experiencing flu-like symptoms. We especially ask our clients who recently traveled outside of Canada to self-isolate for 14 days before coming to the hospital. If you had exposure to symptomatic or confirmed positive COVID-19 cases, or have confirmed positive yourself, please contact 811 or 1-888-268-4319 to receive further direction. Please feel free to call our hospital if you are needing to reschedule your appointment or discuss alternate arrangements, to ensure that your pet receives the care it needs.

Effective immediately, we will accommodate only 2 clients and their pets in the reception area at the same time. If you see 2 people in the reception area, please call 604-931-1277 or wait in the car or outside.

We also ask our clients to refrain from making payments with cash. We will continue to accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Debt.

Note that currently there is limited evidence that pets can be infected with COVID-19. We encourage you to speak to one of our staff if you have questions or need more clarification.

Thank you for trusting us with you and your pet’s care and please do not hesitate to reach out if we can assist you in any way.

Best,

BMPAH Staff
